- "Ezra, the armor I wear is five hundred years old. I reforged it to my liking, but the battles, the history, the blood all lives within it. And the same goes for every Mandalorian."
- ―Sabine Wren
Sabine Wren's armor was a suit of Mandalorian armor worn by the Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren. It was originally forged five hundred years before the Mission to Mandalore, for an individual. Wren reforged it twice, first to fit her when she inherited it and then to modify it sometime after the Liberation of Lothal. In addition, she frequently repainted it with various colors and designs as part of her artistic expression.
Her Nite Owl helmet was a custom design for the Wren clan and was painted purple-pink, which matched her armor. Before going with Ahsoka, she had painted the eyes of the nite owl design using the same color she used for Ezra Bridger's eyes in a mural she painted.[5] Later, 2 white feather shaped stripes running down the front were added.
Description
She painted it in bright colors to suit her, repainting it with new color schemes on various occasions. During her time with the Spectres, in the years prior to the Liberation of Lothal, she kept her starbird insignia on the breastplate, changing only the design's colors with each repainting.[4] In the years after the Liberation, when she mostly stayed on Lothal, she painted a new design on her breastplate to go with new modifications she made, abandoning the starbird insignia in favor of the Rebel Alliance starbird that she helped create on her right pauldron.[5]
Sabine previously painted a dejarik board design and the number "5," marking her callsign "5," on the pauldron,[4] a detail that remained through several repaintings.[7] On her left pauldron, she painted a succession of creatures, including an anooba, an unknown creature, and a convor.[6][4][7] By the time she left Lothal five years after the Battle of Endor, she had a purrgil painted on that pauldron.[5] During her early rebel missions, Sabine did not use many Mandalorian gadgets. She eventually acquired a jetpack and a pair of Mandalorian vambraces.[11]
