Ace Sunspinner was a pirate who had joined the Rokana Raiders by 3 ABY.
Biography
Ace Sunspinner was a pirate who had joined the Rokana Raiders[1] by 3 ABY.[2] While with the raiders he became an outspoken critic of the raider's leader, Stinger Tash, who he called a bad captain. So much so that deckmaster Offo sent a message to other members of the pirate gang instructing them to shutdown Sunspinner's criticism if they heard it.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] Sunspinner was present at the pirate base's landing pad in the Khepi Tomb in the Sayma Nebula when a disguised Kay Vess transported a pretend captive Hondo Ohnaka back to the base after his previous escape. After a brief exchange with Vess and Ohnaka, Sunspinner retired to the base's tavern.[1]
Vess met up with him at the tavern later on where he continued to openly complain about Tash to Vess.[1]
Later that day, Tash successfully broke into the tomb's burial chamber. When Sunspiner and several other raiders joined her there, Ohnaka was there with a piece of the Architect's Scepter which was needed to access the treasure. After initially threatening to smash the section to pieces, Ohnaka proceeded to challenged Tash for leadership of the raiders. Vess, still disguise as a raider spoke for Ohnaka before the group put it up for a vote.[1]
While speaking for Ohnaka, Vess had the opportunity to repeat Sunspinner's belief that Tash was a bad captain in order to win Sunspinner's vote for Hondo. After the vote, disaster struct which resulted in activation of the tomb's sentry droids killing many of the raiders and causing the rest to flee the base.[1]
