Zirtan's Anchor was a shadowport located in the Phosphura Belt Nebula in the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy. The former pirate Queen Maz Kanata marked it on a map she included in the book that would eventually become known as the Smuggler's Guide.[1]

Behind the scenes

Zirtran's Anchor was first mentioned in the current canon in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, which was written by Daniel Wallace.[1] It first appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 1995 article "Zirtran's Anchor," which was written by Tony Russo and published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 5.[2]
