The Zhadalene system was located in the New Territories portion[2] of the Outer Rim Territories. Situated in the Kanz sector at the coordinates N-4 on the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it was linked by the Veragi Trade Route[4] to the Sh'ung-tesk[5] and Argazda systems.[6] Inside the star system was Zhadalene, a planet that became under the Galactic Empire's sway[3] by 5 ABY.[7]
Behind the scenes
The Zhadalene system was first introduced as a label on a map[8] created for the reference book Star Wars: Timelines and first released as a promotional poster at Celebration Anaheim[9] on May 27, 2022[10] prior to the book's release during Celebration Europe[11] of April 7 through 10, 2023.[12] It was identified in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix released alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map.[5] Both works were authored by Jason Fry and published on StarWars.com on June 24, 2025.[13]
