A female member of the Greylark family lived during the High Republic Era. At one point, the woman began a shrine in the Greylark compound on[1] the Core Worlds planet[2] Coruscant to remember and revere their ancestors, despite the family's tendency to not appreciate them.[1]
In 228 BBY,[3] the woman's great-great-granddaughter—the human girl Zenny Greylark, who had an older sister named Lexi—visited the shrine to return a sabacc card that her grandmother considered lucky. As she placed the card back in its place and lit a candle, Zenny mentally noted that it had been her great-great-grandmother who had begun assembling the shrine.[1]
Behind the scenes
Zenny Greylark's great-great-grandmother was mentioned in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[4]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Beware the Nameless takes place one and a half years after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY.
