Zenny Greylark, nicknamed "Starshine" and "Zen-Zen,"[1] was a human female who lived during the High Republic Era. She was a member of the Greylark family as the daughter of Senator Rina Greylark and Republic Defense Coalition member Trystian Greylark. In search of her sister, Lexi Greylark, Zenny Greylark stowed away on the Innovator—a Galactic Republic research vessel—during a mission to the planet Mynos III led by Jedi Padawan Ram Jomaram. When the crew of the Innovator picked up a distress signal from the planet Palagosal, Greylark volunteered to search Palagosal alongside members of the Jedi Order—Jedi Master Ada-Li Carro and the Jedi Initiates Kildo, Tep Tep, and Jamil Sollis—and Ensign Welga of the RDC.[3] She was allergic to tooka cats.[1]
Behind the scenes
Zenny Greylark first appeared in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova.[3] The author confirmed Greylark was a descendant of character Axel Greylark.[4]

Notes and references
- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 The High Republic: A Valiant Vow
- ↑ Per the reasoning here, the events of The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, which take place one and a half years after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, must take place in 228 BBY. As Beware the Nameless establishes that Zenny Greylark is twelve years old during its events, she must have been born around 240 BBY.

(@zoraidasolo) on Instagram (post): "✨THE HIGH REPUBLIC COVER REVEALS!✨ Wave two KidLit is getting scary with some new monsters in the galaxy! Here are the covers for my next middle grade BEWARE THE NAMELESS. And we are meeting some new characters, including Zenny Greylark (yep, she's related to THAT Greylark) and Churo the Hutt, who is my favorite. I loved tying Convergence to this book through Axel Greylark's descendants, and further linking phase 2 and 3. That lands 8.27.24. Art: @paacart A month later (9.24) we have MOAR NAMELESS in TEARS OF THE NAMELESS by @georgemannauthor! I can't wait for everyone to follow Reath and Amadeo's journey!
