- "The ship is the thread, and you are the needle, she’d said. You guide it where it needs to go."
- ―Zenny Greylark's grandmother, to Zenny Greylark
A female member of the Greylark family lived during the High Republic Era. They were the grandmother of the human girl Zenny Greylark, who had an older sister named Lexi. They were a pilot and at one point took Zenny out for one of her first flying lessons.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] while piloting her family's yacht, the Redemption, Zenny mentally recalled the lesson her grandmother had given her.[1]
Behind the scenes
Zenny Greylark's grandmother was mentioned in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic – Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Beware the Nameless takes place one and a half years after the destruction of Starlight Beacon, it must be set in 228 BBY.
