The ZX miniature flame projector,[3] also known as the ZX miniature flamethrower,[1] was a miniature flamethrower often attached to the gauntlet of its user. Bounty hunter Jango Fett used one of these devices, which would cast fire in an arc five-meters long and 1 meter in diameter.[3][4] Fett's son, Boba used the same type of flamethrower to escape from the Sarlacc after the death of Jabba Desilijic Tiure and the collapse of his criminal empire[5] and to fight the Mandalorian warrior Koska Reeves,[6] and his former mentor Cad Bane.[7] Commander Gar Saxon of the Shadow Collective Mandalorian super commandos utilized one during the Siege of Mandalore against Lady Bo-Katan Kryze of the Mandalore resistance.[2]
