Yeksom

Yeksom was a terrestrial planet^[1] in the Yeksom system in the Antemeridian sector of the Outer Rim Territories,^[2] along the Perlemian Trade Route.^[3]

By 230 BBY,^[4] it was one of the longest-standing Galactic Republic member worlds in the Outer Rim. Having suffered severe groundquakes in recent years, the Republic was helping the rebuilding effort, but it was a protracted process, and the majority of Yeksom's inhabitants had lost someone in the crisis. Because Yeksom possessed communications equipment which allowed it to reach Coruscant quickly and was far from the Starlight Beacon space station, Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro chose it as one of four planets he targeted for attacks intended to lure away the Jedi stationed at Starlight.^[1]
