The Yarma system was a star system in[3] the Tharin sector[2] in which the planet Yarma was located. During the reign of the Galactic Empire, they operated a salvage yard on Yarma.[3]
Sometime after the Galactic Civil War, the CR90 corvette Tantive IV, the personal starship of Leia Organa in her teenage years, was discovered in a hangar in the Yarma system by a sympathetic former Imperial senator who returned it to Organa as a gift.[5]
