A Yarkora colony on the Outer Rim planet Carlac was settled by members of the Yarkora species[1] by 132 BBY.[2] The colony was located in Carlac's cold blue-sand equatorial deserts. It was situated south of monasteries raised by Ming Po monks and was far from the subpolar Piteous Ranges mountain chain.[1]
