Lord Xanak Grunseit was a Falleen male member of the criminal syndicate Black Sun who was the great nephew of Xomit Grunseit, the former leader of the syndicate.[2] By between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[1] Grunseit was the cousin of the current leader of Black Sun, though Grunseit believed themself as the rightful leader of the syndicate. During this time, the Hutt Clan placed a death mark out on Grunseit's head. The bounty hunter Boba Fett planned to take the mark on Grunseit's head, though secretly was working for the Falleen's cousin instead of the Hutts, and agreed to provide the bounty hunter T'onga with the location of a cyborg fixer if she and her crew helped Fett kill Grunseit. At the same time, Grunseit learned that Fett intended to take the hit on them and placed their own bounty on Fett. In order to complete their job, Fett and the crew then traveled to Quantxi, the junk moon of Ord Mantell, where they met with Grunseit and a number of Black Sun gangsters wth Fett seemingly captured by the crew. Grunseit betrayed the crew, with no intention of ever paying them for bringing in Fett and had them surrounded by E-Web heavy repeating blaster cannons. Fett then threw a ball of a fast-acting neurotoxin known as Syntox at the Falleen which was deadly to them, revealing to the lord that had been working for the Falleen's cousin, and that he only needed to get close to them to use it. The neurotoxin ultimately killed Grunseit, and the hunters were able to kill the remaining Black Sun forces.[2]
