Commander Code-8

  1. For the very first WOTM of 2013, I nominate Code-8. I do realize that he hasn't been actively editing for very long (although he joined in 2009). However, I think in this case, it can be used as a compliment. In a short amount of time, CC-8 has really thrown himself into it, and has demonstrated his ability to be a substantial editor. He is an active nominator of GANs, as well as a consistent reviewer. He has big ideas for the future, as demonstrated by his Operation Galactic Battlegrounds. As the founder of WP:VG, I appreciate his continued and consistent help on there. Many times, I won't be able to keep the nomination list of WP:VG up-to-date, but when I check it, it's all taken care of, usually by Code-8. From what I've seen, he gets along good with his fellow users, and is an overall hard worker. I think Code-8 is very qualified for this award.—Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 02:32, December 1, 2012 (UTC)
  2. Code-8 absolutely deserves this award. Keep up the great work. 501st dogma(talk) 02:36, December 1, 2012 (UTC)
  3. Dang you, Cal! I was going to nominate him literally minutes from now! lol Yeah, this guy is very cooperative, and he has really taken the wheel on this Battlegrounds thing. I can always count on him to review my GB noms, and he's honestly sparked a fire in me for the topic that had nearly died. Our two projects have worked together to bring up numerous GB articles, and we have plenty more on the way. Couldn't ask for a better battle partner in the war to better GB coverage on this site. Keep it up, brah! MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 02:59, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

  6. Code8's learning the ropes really quickly. I've been just as impressed with his reviewing on the GAN page as I have been with his writing. Menkooroo (talk) 03:52, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

  8. One of the first times I noticed him was when he wrote on WP:VG's talk page regarding its previously passed articles not being reflected, and I have seen him doing a lot on this website. I particularly give him kudos for his Galactic Battlegrounds noms, and I have to say keep up the good work. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 04:31, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

Wow, this is pleasant suprise. I wasn't expecting to see my name on here for either a long time or not at all. :) Commander Code-8 To say hi, press 42 04:10, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

  1. Here we have an exemplary user here on Wookieepedia. Trak has taken the lead in being diplomatic in discussions with Wikia even on less-than-stellar occasions. Also, Trak represented the Wook at Celebration VI. How cool is that? Anyway, Trak is a great user and admin. 2. I was willing to go with Commander-8 for his great work in the past months however, the WOTM can't be always to those active members who make numerous edits. Trak isn't very active but she's able to "deliever" valuable and delicate edits, recently even involving herself (and resolving) several matters related to Wookieepedia itself. It's perfectly understandable that some users may not have as much available time as others but yet they still deserve worthy recognition when making rare interventions of extreme value, like Trak. Trak's professionalism and overall attitude have always impressed me time and time again, and I'm happy to give her my vote. Commander Code-8 will have my vote next month. :) CC7567 (talk) 03:40, December 1, 2012 (UTC)
    • Sorry, just realized that Trak has already won. CC7567 (talk) 03:55, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

Just a note that while Trak has done a lot lately in terms of CVI and working with Wikia, she was previously WOTM for December 2009, and repeats are generally discouraged. —MJ— Jedi Council Chambers 03:20, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

  • I'm flattered, but after SWFanon's complete and utter lack of any UotMs after mine, I got really tired of seeing my name on the main page. I'd rather the award go to someone else. :) Trak Nar Ramble on 06:44, December 11, 2012 (UTC)
