I Know
To quote myself: What the hell is this?! I demand I don't think so. What about I have you now?.

Smite it.--Valin Kenobi 10:34, 1 December 2006 (UTC)- There will be no one to stop us this time! was an expression used to indicate a lack of anybody to stop you this time. It was frequently used by Darth Vader. Green Tentacle (Talk) 10:46, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Honestly people, in terms of dialogue, the buck has to stop at the proverbial "bad feeling". .... 08:23, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
- Probably was made because Legacy 6 brought it back. -- Riffsyphon1024 05:04, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- How is this a notable line in Star Wars? --Imp 19:37, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it is used at least 3 times. It's already in that article, actually; we just need to add the Legacy usage. -- Ozzel 19:58, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure the word "the" is used a few hundred times—do we consider that a notable word in Star Wars? --Imp 20:00, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- But this isn't a single commonplace word--it's a notable phrase from one of the key scenes of the OT. Anyway, as you can see I'm in favor of deleting the article, but I don't see any harm in putting a redirect in its place (if for no other reason than to keep it from being recreated someday).--Valin Kenobi 20:05, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- My point is, it's an everyday phrase, it's no wonder it has showed up three times in Star Wars products. Unless intentionally used as a reference to the specific scene in the OT, it's just a coincidence. And a redirect would be stupid, seeing as this wouldn't even be added to the "Notable lines in Star Wars" article (what with it's un-notability and all). --Imp 20:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- But the uses in ROTJ and Legacy are both obvious references to it. -- Ozzel 20:17, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- What scene are we talking about anyway? I can't recall ever hearing it in a Star Wars movie. --Imp 20:33, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Umm... are you serious? -- Ozzel 20:41, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I've only watched Episode I, the Holiday Special and the Luke/Vader duel in Episode V. :P Anyway, the reference in Legacy isn't to the phrase "I Know", it's a reference to the conversation between Han and Leia in the OT. "I Know" just happens to be part of that conversation, if that makes any sense. --Imp 20:45, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- In RotJ, in the battle on Endor, Leia takes a grazing blow from approaching Imperial troops and goes down. When Han checks on her with the Imperials still closing in, she gives him a knowing look and reveals she's got a grip on a hidden blaster. Han gets his classic smirk and tells her "I love you," to which she gets a smirk of her own and tells him "I know." They then shoot the Imperials together. Anyway, another instance of its use was somewhere in the Hand of Thrawn duology (I think; *might* have been the Thrawn Trilogy). Han and Leia exchange an "I love you"/"I know" in front of Luke, who has apparently heard it often enough that he wonders where the two picked up their little "inside joke." jSarek 21:55, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- Alright, thank you. Well, my point is, it's the exchange "I love you/I know" that should be at "Notable lines in Star Wars", not simply "I know." --Imp 22:06, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
