  1. Okay, we're really stepping into history here. Ever since the policy passed to create this procedure, we mods have been slowly poking around to find some forum regulars we figured would fit the mod role well. Originally we reached out to three people, but the only one who responded declined, so we were at a loss for a bit until Joupena made a great recommendation for someone else we could ask. I'm sorry to tell UndyingSoldier that he was a second-round draft pick, but he's certainly a first-rate user who's been on the forum for years and has all the qualities we'd hope for in a mod. He's an experienced participant in news, spoiler, and opinion threads, with great debate skills to back it all up. He actually commented on the original announcement about this very nomination process—little did any of us know that he'd be the first to try it out.
