- "X-Wing: The Official Strategy Guide gives the impression that Blastwell was killed at the Battle of Yavin. Though TIE Fighter: The Official Strategy Guide establishes that he survived, it gives no further detail. Since the book shows him working undercover, his "death" was presumably to aid in establishing his cover."
