  • Do we really know this much from the episode? We know he trained with Barriss, so it's an obvious assumption to make that he's her age, etc., but I feel like we shouldn't be extrapolating to such an extent unless the episode actually states he was "born in the final decades of the Galactic Republic."
    • Changed to "lived."
  • I feel like this is also undue extrapolation. Assuming this information is coming straight from the intro quote, we don't necessarily know she was having difficulty. He could have just taught her the correct way from the outset of training: "When Offee found difficulties with learning lightsaber combat, specifically with how to hold her lightsaber, Mara helped her learn the correct grip for her weapon"
    • Adjusted.
  • I'm not sure the use of the 1stID tag in the Appearances list is correct. Since his name is already identified in the first mention, the 1st tag achieves what you're trying to accomplish there. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 07:24, October 21, 2013 (UTC)
    • The week before the episode aired, only the "preview" version of the guide was released. It didn't have any of the Episode Gallery/Trivia slideshows (the Trivia gallery is where Mara is explicitly mentioned) that are currently visible; the only initial reference to him was in Yoda's Relationships entry, which states "they hold a funeral for the Knights killed in the blast." After that, the episode aired and identified him by name, and then the full guide was published with all of the slideshows—which is why {{1stID}} is being used for the episode. Does that make sense?
      • Gotcha. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:44, October 23, 2013 (UTC)
    • Thanks for the review. Just as a note, I removed the link to Jedi Initiate because we don't specifically know the time frame of when Mara first met Offee. They were likely Initiates, since that's when Jedi normally start lightsaber training, but technically it's also possible (not likely, but possible) that they were already Padawans when they first met (or even, one was an Initiate and another was a Padawan), so I didn't want to make that assumption. • "His ability with the Force led to his induction into the Jedi Order." - Do we know this to be true from the episode? While it's true in most cases, it seems like an assumption here (again, unless the episode says that it is so). Thefourdotelipsis (talk) 04:14, October 28, 2013 (UTC)
    • It's not stated directly in the episode, but I don't believe it's an assumption. The current wording is intentionally concise; it doesn't state that his Force-sensitivty was "discovered" by the Jedi Order, only that it led to him being "inducted" into the Order—which is true, regardless of the exact events that led to him joining the Order, because his abilities with the Force are the primary reason that he's in the Order. If he hadn't been Force-sensitive, he wouldn't have been a Jedi. Does that make sense? CC7567 (talk) 20:30, November 1, 2013 (UTC)
      • But do we know that it's his ability with the Force that is the instigator for this? I dunno, couldn't there be other reasons for someone being accepted into the order, political or otherwise? There are examples in other works where it's not the character's individual Force-sensitivity that is the instigator for their joining, but the recommendation of another Jedi, just as an example. Thefourdotelipsis (talk) 00:43, November 2, 2013 (UTC)
        • I'm still not quite sure I entirely agree, but I've reworded the sentence slightly to minimize the casual relationship. Thanks for the review. CC7567 (talk) 18:32, November 3, 2013 (UTC)
