• You should use underscores instead of spaces for file names. i.e.
• I have no idea what happened there. The files had underscores when I copied and pasted them. Anyway, fixed. OtterSurf (talk) 08:18, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• Does one of the sources established the plural of Syboona is also Syboona?
• I've seen nothing saying "Syboonas" or "Sybooni" or suchlike, so maybe I should remove any attempt at pluralisation if we're not sure. OtterSurf (talk) 08:20, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• I think you should just go with "Syboonas" if there is no indication of its plural form. This should also change the name of Category:Syboona TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 16:00, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• Done. I'll do the category as well. OtterSurf (talk) 18:17, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• The syboona being sentient is only mentioned in the article body. It should also be noted in the infobox and the relevant category must be added.
• What category is that? OtterSurf (talk) 08:46, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• Ah, nevermind. The current categories are already subcatogeries of Category:Sentient species. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 16:00, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• The section for the references must always be named "Notes and references."
• Fixed. OtterSurf (talk) 08:41, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• The Sources must be listed in order of publication date. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 01:34, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• Done. OtterSurf (talk) 08:50, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• If you are going to pipelink something, the word must be entirely between the double square brackets. i.e. Galactic Republic's and Galactic Republic's
• Thanks for clarifying that! I'd always wondered. OtterSurf (talk) 08:42, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• (Reviewing note) Top must always be placed at the top of the article page. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 01:41, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• I'll keep that in mind. OtterSurf (talk) 08:42, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• You should just remove that hidden BTS note if you can't source it.
• Okay. OtterSurf (talk) 18:14, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• It's still there. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 22:13, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• Fixed. OtterSurf (talk) 08:45, July 7, 2019 (UTC)
• The StarWars.com article for Podracer Drivers doesn't have a proper archival link. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 16:00, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• Really? I've just tested it and it works. OtterSurf (talk) 18:14, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• https://web.archive.org/save/https://www.starwars.com/news/start-your-engines-star-wars-podracing-drivers-part-1 This is not an actual archival link. You have just copied the link before it could finish saving the page. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 22:13, July 6, 2019 (UTC)
• Oh. Never mind, I'll fix it. OtterSurf (talk) 08:44, July 7, 2019 (UTC)
• The Wayback site seems to be having some trouble right now. I'll try again later. OtterSurf (talk) 08:56, July 7, 2019 (UTC)
• I have taken care of it. TanDivoInsignia-SenateMurders Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 20:58, July 7, 2019 (UTC)
• "HoloNet News Vol. 531 49 provides a Great ReSynchronization date of 13:3:28. This date corresponds to the year 22 BBY on the Galactic Standard Calendar, according to the following explanation." I don't like having the explanation for that date on another page. I think the reference note on this article must explain how the date is derived. Please revise. • A mention of a character is not a mention (indirect or otherwise) of a species. If that's the only reason you're including the HoloNet News article in the Appearances list, that should just be removed. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 22:15, July 10, 2019 (UTC)
• Fair enough. Removed. OtterSurf (talk) 07:40, July 11, 2019 (UTC)
• You have formatting errors in references 6 and 8. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:34, July 12, 2019 (UTC)
• Could you please show me how? OtterSurf (talk) 08:38, July 13, 2019 (UTC)
• Nevermind, fixed. OtterSurf (talk) 08:45, July 13, 2019 (UTC)
• You've still got something wrong in reference 8. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:00, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
• I can't see it. Could you help me out? It looks correct to me. OtterSurf (talk) 19:35, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
• If I just told you, you won't learn from your mistake. I suggest checking your reference against the book, then you'll probably see your error. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:40, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
• Ah. Fixed. OtterSurf (talk) 19:57, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
• Very good. Now fix the formatting error in the Sources list. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:22, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
• Done. OtterSurf (talk) 08:16, July 17, 2019 (UTC)
• Is it not possible to get a version of the infobox image without his right arm being cropped off? Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:43, July 18, 2019 (UTC)
• Her arm. And I'll see what I can whip up. OtterSurf (talk) 20:45, July 18, 2019 (UTC)
• Nope. I've just checked a video showing Knire Dark's character screen, which is the only good shot of a Syboona anywhere, and it would be impossible to get all of her in without the image looking blurred, as her right arm is only on screen for an eyeblink. They're long arms, Top. What can I say? OtterSurf (talk) 20:49, July 18, 2019 (UTC)
• Link, please? Your credibility at this point is pretty low. And I don't give a crap what sex he is. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:51, July 18, 2019 (UTC)
• https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uRUFtfO1_eI&t=244s Skip to 3.47. You'll see what I mean. OtterSurf (talk) 21:03, July 18, 2019 (UTC)
• Yeah, I disagree that you can't get a better version without the arm cropped off. Pause it at 3:51, and you get a perfect shot of her looking to screen-left, with full body visible. I would suggest asking Culator, who uploaded this originally, to see if he can acquire that for you. And you can share links without having to use the full, ugly URL like this. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:56, July 19, 2019 (UTC)
• Will do. And thanks for the tip. OtterSurf (talk) 11:10, July 20, 2019 (UTC)
• Nope, Culator says that the only shots that feature all of Dark onscreen are in odd poses. It's not going to be possible. OtterSurf (talk) 08:36, July 22, 2019 (UTC)
• I no longer have the ability to acquire images from that game in that level of quality. I was experimenting with a PS2 emulator at the time and uploaded that screenshot on a whim, but have since lost the .ISO file. I don't think it's wise to trade twice the image quality for a single arm. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 12:48, July 22, 2019 (UTC)
• Strike that. Just because I like to flaunt my obvious awesomeness, I reinstalled the emulator, acquired the game, figured out how to make the cheats work to unlock the characters, and upscaled the crap out of the graphics. We now have an image cropped from a 3840x2160 frame of a game originally intended to run at 640x480. Why? Because we can. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 15:17, July 22, 2019 (UTC)
• Beyond the limits of mere awesomeness, Culator! A million thanks. OtterSurf (talk) 15:24, July 22, 2019 (UTC)
• Excellent. Well done. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:20, July 22, 2019 (UTC)
• The terms "species" and "race" are not synonymous and should not be used interchangeably, even though some Star Wars sources do mess this up. These words have distinct, separate meanings. Unless something actually calls the Syboonas a race, which presumably there is none, you should be using the term species for this article. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 15:59, July 26, 2019 (UTC)
• Fixed. Thanks for the clarification. OtterSurf (talk) 19:24, July 26, 2019 (UTC)
• Infobox things:
• Skin color. I don't know where you're getting "light blue" for the species' skin color, because it looks very royal blue to me. There definitely appear to be shades of purple in there as well. To be safe, I would probably just call it Bluish-purple.
• I never wrote that, it was there before I started editing. Don't know why I never noticed that. OtterSurf (talk) 07:09, August 16, 2019 (UTC)
• Is the planet Syboona actually mentioned in the Racer Revenge strategy guide? I ask because that item isn't listed in the Syboona article's Sources list; only the game itself is. And for that matter, if the game tells us the species is from Syboona, what is the reasoning for needing to use the strategy guide as a reference for this infobox item?
• I shamefully admit to not owning the strategy guide, and I've been complacent in using it as a source. Sooooooo, I have procured an alternate source for the Syboona homeworld, namely Jason Fry's "Planetnamia" post, as Syboona is mentioned in the Essential Atlas. The early history for Syboona (the planet) does indicate that the strategy guide was the source, but since I can't definitively prove that, and as such define it as anything other than fanon, I've gone with the next best thing. I can confirm, however, that it is not mentioned in the game itself. OtterSurf (talk) 11:30, August 16, 2019 (UTC)
• Be advised that other sources also exist for other citations attributed to the strategy guide if there's nobody that can back them up. OtterSurf (talk) 12:21, August 16, 2019 (UTC)
• Going along with the last sentence of the previous objection, the same question stands for the Knire Dark item in the infobox. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:38, August 15, 2019 (UTC)
• This I am reticent about, since it could only have come from the strategy guide based on the pattern of information I have seen. If you're not happy about that, I can link it to the Starwars.com article instead. OtterSurf (talk) 11:30, August 16, 2019 (UTC)

• Ref 6: Right now, the last part of the ref note is kind of pointless, since it does not source anything. It would work, if you use ref 6 to also source this part in the history: where she distinguished herself in the last years of the Galactic Republic QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 12:31, July 12, 2019 (UTC)
• Done. It's now Ref 5. OtterSurf (talk) 13:02, July 12, 2019 (UTC)

• Done. That quote was copied from the Knire Dark article and I should have taken a closer look at it. I'll correct it there as well. OtterSurf (talk) 08:28, July 29, 2019 (UTC)

Vote to remove nomination (AC only)

1. ACvote From the bylaws page: "Nominations that exhibit strong evidence showing that the nominator has no inclination to work on the article during the review process will be candidates for the "nonsense nomination clause" and may be removed short of the stipulated two-week idle period with a consensus of three AC support votes." I believe that failure to possess a source major to the article subject, despite being warned about this on multiple previous nominations, is such a display of lack of inclination. I will make this clear: All articles nominated here are expected to be fully fact checked, with this responsibility resting with the nominator. This cannot be done if major sources that reference the subject are not fully checked. These sources cannot be checked unless the nominator owns them. Therefore, there is an expectation for the nominator to own major sources for their article, which you have just admitted you do not. Any repeats of this and the nominated article will just be removed again, as it is becoming a waste of our time to review these when you are unable to offer a compete writeup.
