Lee's charge
  • Is "NOTOC" really needed here?
    • Removed. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • You need a "Youmay" tag.
    • Added. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Fact tag in the infobox.
    • Cited information. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • "None" is not needed in the infobox.
    • Removed. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Context on Gungans, Naboo and opee sea killer.
    • Context given on the three. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • Still missing context for Naboo, Ohma-D'un and Gungan in the intro. Clone Commander Lee Talk 12:09, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
        • This has now been completed. -- Riffsyphon1024 12:57, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Their planet of origin (Naboo) must be mentioned in the body.
    • Mentioned. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Body is way too short.
    • You adressed this one by fixing the other objections. Clone Commander Lee Talk 12:07, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • The typical ray fish was a long-bodied creature with a large head and wide mouth that dominated much of its body. According to this sentence, there could be other ray fishes. Anything we know about these?
    • Edited so there is no confusion about these. Rays are one shape. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • BtS is not sourced.
    • According to Wookieepedia:Sourcing, there is nothing that indicates that we have to cite the BTS, as these sources are citing themselves. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • including other scalefish with musically-inspired names. Is this really said in the film? Clone Commander Lee Talk 12:07, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
        • Ah, not mentioned in films, but doesn't have to be does it? For some reason I didn't add the list of other scalefish to this article like I had with the ones I haven't nommed yet, but they are essentially doo, ray, mee, faa, see, laa, tee, (and doo), which is the musical scale, save for one note. But for the purposes of this article, I have removed the term "musical". -- Riffsyphon1024 12:57, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
          • I'll strike this as I'm not very familiar with such things. If it is not OK, I'm pretty sure another reviewer will tell you that. Clone Commander Lee Talk 17:41, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Color has to be linked.
    • Linked. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • Still missing in infobox, intro and bio. Clone Commander Lee Talk 12:07, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
        • Yikes, got all of them now. -- Riffsyphon1024 13:00, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Basic info from the infobox is missing in the body.
    • Added to body. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • By my count, the article only has 246 words and is therefore to short for GAN at the moment. However, if you make the changes above, it is highly likely that he gets the needed length.
    • Hopefully bumped up now. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:29, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • Indeed. Clone Commander Lee Talk 12:10, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • I'll take another look after you dealt with these. Clone Commander Lee Talk 11:59, December 23, 2011 (UTC)
  • Throughout the article you mention that they were considered to be good swimmers. Considered by whom?
    • Altered to 'fast swimmers'. All sources refrain from mentioning any whoms. Just given in the text as 'Crescent shaped caudal fin allowed for fast swimming and spectacular leaping'. -- Riffsyphon1024 12:57, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Please give some context on "mee" in your picture caption.
    • Context and links given. -- Riffsyphon1024 12:57, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • That Naboo is a Mid Rim planet is intro-exclusive.
    • Added to body. -- Riffsyphon1024 23:57, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • Assuming that it is stated in the Guide that Naboo is a Mid Rim planet.
  • On Naboo, these fish were found in the Abyss: Is there a link for this place? If not (and there is enough info), could you create one?
    • Whoops, added link to Naboo Abyss. -- Riffsyphon1024 23:57, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • That would be all from me. Clone Commander Lee Talk 17:44, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • The fact that they are non-sentient has to be mentioned in the body. Clone Commander Lee Talk 09:18, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
    • Mentioned. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:12, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
  • In the infobox you source their homeworld to TPM, in the body to the guide. Please find which source is correct. Clone Commander Lee Talk 09:20, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
    • Both are correct. One shows the fish, while the other describes it. -- Riffsyphon1024 11:12, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
Jangston
  • Hey Riff, just out of a curiosity look, your intro is too short and we do not allow reference tags in the intro. JangFett (Talk) 15:58, December 23, 2011 (UTC)
    • Gah. Ick. Right on it. -- Riffsyphon1024 09:59, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
      • Jang, Lee has kept me straight tonight. You can look at it now. -- Riffsyphon1024 23:57, December 25, 2011 (UTC)
  • Reload your infobox. :P JangFett (Talk) 17:46, December 26, 2011 (UTC)
    • I hope no one bothers that I took care of this objection. I thought that all infobox-reloading objections are placed under my noms. :P Clone Commander Lee Talk 18:14, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
      • While I appreciate your kindness, Lee, I would like it if Riff does it just in case this occurs in his future noms. :P JangFett (Talk) 19:10, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
        • To be honest, I really didn't know what you were asking of. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:52, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
          • Reload the infobox means to replace the current parameter-missing infobox with a fresh one with all parameters. JangFett (Talk) 03:56, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
  • To clarify, did they have a red-yellow eye color, as in a mix, or separate? The information present in the infobox, and later in the description is confusing.
    • According to the drawing by Terryl Whitlatch in The Wildlife of Star Wars, they possess a eye that has both red and yellow parts. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:52, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • Since you mentioned they were native on Naboo and on its moon in the intro, could you state this in the description section as well? Instead of saying that were found on Naboo.
    • Done. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:52, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • Context for Naboo's Abyss
    • Strung out to read Naboo Abyss. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:52, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • "Both the aquatic Gungans and Humans" Since you're stating "both," this sentence reads as if the Humans were aquatic too. I'm assuming you're referring to only the Gungan, correct?
    • Yes, that was the intention. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:52, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • Not bad, Riff. :) JangFett (Talk) 19:10, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
    • Doing my best to complete these requests with limited internet. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:52, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
  • 1 more, fact tag in the description section. JangFett (Talk) 04:00, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
    • Nevermind, took care of it myself. Assuming the infobox source for the Ray's eyes is correct. :P JangFett (Talk) 04:01, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
      • Yes, the source is correct, Jang. Thanks for getting this. -- Riffsyphon1024 02:15, January 10, 2012 (UTC)
Cal Jedi (where?)
  • "as well as its moon Ohma-D'un, which they were later introduced to." - Later when? Is there some date that you can provide that says later than "blah blah year," or whatever?
    • According to Star Wars Episode I: The Gungan Frontier, Ohma-D'un was settled by the Gungans shortly after the Battle of Naboo. I could make the article reflect this a little better. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:28, December 31, 2011 (UTC)
  • Please note my copy-edit here. Otherwise, good work on this TPM article. :) --Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 03:23, December 29, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks, Cal and Jang. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:28, December 31, 2011 (UTC)
      • Looks good. I'll support as soon as Jang's objections are met.--Cal JediInfinite Empire (Personal Comm Channel) 01:10, December 31, 2011 (UTC)
Savaged…
  • You need to use Template:CSWECite in both the "sources" and "notes" sections.
  • You can go into a lot more detail about the appearance. I'd mention the sharp teeth, white belly, long wispy frontal fins, and stubby tail fins at least.
  • I think you need to add a "History" section, even if not much is known. You can mention that they evolved on Naboo, they were introduced to the moon, and that some were swimming about during whatever scene it was they appeared in during TPM and other appearances. That's all. Can't wait to see the rest of these. ~SavageBOB sig 01:08, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
    • All have been answered. Hope this suffices. -- Riffsyphon1024 03:13, January 5, 2012 (UTC)
Toprawa
  • Two preliminary objections. Please reload infobox.
  • If the subject appears in the Episode I Visual Dictionary, it's most likely also in the Complete VD, which would need to be added to the Sources list. Toprawa and Ralltiir 05:40, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
    • Allow me to but in Tope. I checked it and the rays are in the Complete VD. I added it to the Sources list. Clone Commander Lee Talk 09:27, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
      • Thanks, Lee. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:18, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
      • Thanks, Lee, too. What left is outstanding here? -- Riffsyphon1024 02:15, January 10, 2012 (UTC)
        • The first objection. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:25, January 10, 2012 (UTC)
          • Oh darn. I reloaded the infobox. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:47, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
  • Per our discussion on the Doo GAN, I think this article should also be checked for possible inclusion in those mentioned TPM adaptations. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:56, January 17, 2012 (UTC)
    • Menkooroo mentioned this to me on my talk page: "The manga adaptation doesn't depict any fish during the swim, nor during the Boomba ride. Ditto the regular ol' comic adaptation. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace PhotoComic does indeed depict Doos swimming outside of Otoh Gunga as Jar Jar and his escorts arrive at the underwater city. The novelization mentions no fish save for the big eaty ones, only describing coral as they drive the boonga through the planet core. There's nothing in the film's official souvenir magazine. I hope that helps! Menkooroo 03:39, January 18, 2012 (UTC)" Just doo in one source, no rays or other fish noted. -- Riffsyphon1024 07:59, January 18, 2012 (UTC)
      • Sounds good. Thanks, Menkooroo. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:56, January 18, 2012 (UTC)
  • One last formatting objection. Might we consider putting the body image into the Description section, aligned left? Anything we are able to put into the IU sections of the article is preferable to the BTS. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:56, January 18, 2012 (UTC)
    • Adjusted as requested. Hope this helps! -- Riffsyphon1024 04:19, January 19, 2012 (UTC)
A drop of golden sun
  • That they're scalefish should be mentioned in the In-universe part of the body; currently it doesn't show up until "Behind the scenes."
    • Whoops, I fixed this for the opening body paragraph. And yes it helps to sing along. :) -- Riffsyphon1024 00:47, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
  • Can you give some context on Qui-Gonn, Obi-Wan, and Jar Jar?
    • Identified by professions and species. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:47, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
  • I feel like one of the Appearances or Sources should have the {{1stID}} tag.
    • I believe that would be Star Wars: Episode I The Visual Dictionary and have applied the tag to it.
  • "Though not one of the animals a player can choose to take to Ohma-D'un in the Mantaris," --- is the Mantaris a ship? Our article on it says that it's a fish. Menkooroo 04:41, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
    • Yeah that is also apparently a ship, and we have another article for at least the class of transport. -- Riffsyphon1024 00:47, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
