  1. Apologies for my slowness in responding, I shouldn't have left it to the AC to strike my objections. Jinzler (talk) 23:13, March 5, 2018 (UTC)
There is nothing wrong with the article in general, apart from it not meeting featured criteria. —Unsigned comment by Interstellarpilotwizard (talk • contribs) (Vote struck per policy: user does not have 50 mainspace edits. 1358 (Talk) 20:02, April 13, 2018 (UTC))

  • For now, you'll need to expand the introduction. Run through the article and find relevant information for it. JangFett (Talk) 01:50, January 11, 2018 (UTC)
    • Done. -- Banana32 I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:36, January 11, 2018 (UTC)
      • Please correct those redirects. There's a number of them. JangFett (Talk) 03:14, January 26, 2018 (UTC)
        • Wow! I didn't realize how many there were in the introductory paragraph. I think they're all fixed now, however. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 04:00, January 26, 2018 (UTC)
Ecks Dee
  • I would argue a typo in concept art does not warrant a mention in the Bts. Typos happen all the time and in this case it's fair to expect it was one rather than intentional. 1358 (Talk) 00:18, January 19, 2018 (UTC)
    • Okay, I deleted the information. --B32 I-find-this-atire-appealing 00:54, January 19, 2018 (UTC)
  • Based on the images, there's probably more you can say about the species' appearance. On a quick glance, the sharp jaw, the protruding eyes and the long fingers would be worth mentioning. 1358 (Talk) 20:31, March 8, 2018 (UTC)
    • Done. I mentioned that their jaws were shaped sharply, the protruding eyes, and elongated fingers, and that it seemed the red Poletecs were greater in number than the beige Poletecs. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 22:26, March 8, 2018 (UTC)
  • The article is currently in Category:Pages with missing permanent archival links. You'll need to supply a backup link via archive.org to the {{databank}} templates. 1358 (Talk) 20:31, March 8, 2018 (UTC)
    • It's not in the category anymore. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 22:26, March 8, 2018 (UTC)
      • It still is there, but the category is hidden by default due to being a maintenance category. You can enable hidden categories in your preferences. You will need to pass a valid archive URL to a |archiveurl= parameter in the databank templates. 1358 (Talk) 19:42, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
        • Ummm...could you link me to a place that explains in detail the steps? --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 21:32, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
          • Basically, you need to click on the default backup links in the template and make sure the backup copy actually works. In this case, I clicked on the backup link for Poletec's databank entry in the Sources section, which took me to https://web.archive.org/web/20170902030624/http://www.starwars.com:80/databank/poletec and it works just fine. Then I added that link to the template, as seen in this edit. Make sure to do this both for Sources entries and references. 1358 (Talk) 21:41, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
            • Okay, I understand. Thanks for helping! --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 19:47, March 13, 2018 (UTC)
              • To clarify: I left you the second Sources entry and the references. My edit was just so that you'd have an example. 1358 (Talk) 19:56, March 13, 2018 (UTC)
                • I noticed that, which is why I did the Skako Minor one. Did you say references as well? --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 19:05, March 14, 2018 (UTC)
                  • Yes. 1358 (Talk) 23:22, March 14, 2018 (UTC)
                    • How might you add the URL to the references? --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 21:19, March 15, 2018 (UTC)
                      • Just as you did with the Sources. The references are using the same citation templates after all. 1358 (Talk) 15:50, March 18, 2018 (UTC)
  • You have a few completely unsourced paragraphs. 1358 (Talk) 23:22, March 14, 2018 (UTC)
    • I sourced the paragraphs, but I cannot seem to figure out how to the URL to the references. It doesn't work in source mode, and I'm not sure what to do using the visual editor. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:01, March 20, 2018 (UTC)
      • The |designation= field in the infobox contains the first instance the Poletec databank entry, so that's where the reference in question is. Just add in an archivedate there. 1358 (Talk) 22:01, March 20, 2018 (UTC)
        • Okay, thank you. I followed your instructions and did that. Any other suggestions? --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 03:02, March 21, 2018 (UTC)
  • References go after punctuation.
    • Okay I fixed that. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 17:32, March 31, 2018 (UTC)
  • You need to check your referencing in regards to the year citations. For instance, right now the two first sentences of "Society and culture" are sourced to Galactic Atlas, which is incorrect.
    • So...uhhhh. I don't really know much about these sourcing bits. Could you point me toward a source that is satisfactory? --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 17:32, March 31, 2018 (UTC)
      • Honestly, not to sound rude here but this is really something that you should learn before going for a FAN. If you look at another GAN, Tolomar Reez for instance, you'll see that dates are almost always surrounded by other references. This is because a reference signals that all information before that reference is from that source. Only a paragraph break or another reference can break that up. 1358 (Talk) 21:29, April 2, 2018 (UTC)
        • Oh wait. I don't believe I understood you in your first bit when I replied about not knowing sourcing that well. I understand what you were pointing out now. I fixed it; sourced the previous sentences. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:13, April 3, 2018 (UTC)
          • This is still an issue in the History section, where the year 19 BBY is referenced to "A Distant Echo". 1358 (Talk) 23:06, April 4, 2018 (UTC)
            • Oh. Good eye. I fixed it. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 19:22, April 5, 2018 (UTC)
  • I'm pretty sure you're missing at least a few sources; for instance Bad Batch Concept Gallery definitely needs to be included using the appropriate citation template 1358 (Talk) 20:44, March 21, 2018 (UTC)
    • Okay. I included the link using the citation template you suggested. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 17:32, March 31, 2018 (UTC)
      • You'll need to include a backup link for that as well. 1358 (Talk) 21:29, April 2, 2018 (UTC)
        • Okay, done, with someone's help. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:06, April 3, 2018 (UTC)
          • You've managed to add a backup link, but the url parameter itself is empty. If you click on the main link in the template, you'll see that the link is broken. Please read the instructions of {{SW}} and then add an url parameter as appropriate. 1358 (Talk) 23:06, April 4, 2018 (UTC)
  • No applicable quotes? 1358 (Talk) 21:29, April 2, 2018 (UTC)
    • When an alien speaks a different language other than English, we write the English version? Assuming it is translated in the episode, which in this case it is. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:06, April 3, 2018 (UTC)
      • Translated quotes use {{quotetrans}} or, if appropriate, {{dialogue}}. 1358 (Talk) 23:06, April 4, 2018 (UTC)
        • Ahhhh...I'll try to do that today. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 16:39, April 7, 2018 (UTC)

  • I think you should expand the BTS with when they first appeared, when that was first released, and briefly that the episodes weren't finished.—Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (TAKE A SEAT) 20:29, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
    • Okay, I added that information. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 22:36, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
      • "Canon", dates, episode title and StarWars.com need links.—Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (TAKE A SEAT) 22:40, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
        • Oh, I forgot to link. Fixed it. Any other recommendations? --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 23:16, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
          • A distant echo still needs linking, and I'd try to work the clone wars into there too.—Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (TAKE A SEAT) 09:44, February 13, 2018 (UTC)
            • Okay, I added and linked those articles. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:08, February 15, 2018 (UTC)
              • I've switched the BTS paragraphs so the appearance-based one is first. That's it for now.—Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (TAKE A SEAT) 08:38, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
                • Okay, thanks! So are you planning to support? --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:12, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
                  • All in good time. At the moment you still have outstanding objections from Toprawa.—Tommy-Macaroni Imperial Emblem (TAKE A SEAT) 20:25, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
Toprawa
  • The infobox image is cropped too narrow. Infobox images should be 400px in width whenever possible, or a minimum of 250px in width to fit the infobox. The original image that this crop is coming from is humongous, so this shouldn't be a problem to fix. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:38, February 13, 2018 (UTC)
    • Hello! It seems I can't resize the image. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:14, February 15, 2018 (UTC)
      • Yes, you can. It's a very simple matter of saving the original source image and cropping it in any image-editing software, such as MS Paint or Photoshop. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:02, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
        • Oh yeah! Sorry, I forgot that the image was taken from StarWars.com's large image in the entry. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:32, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
          • Is the current one I just uploaded good? --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:46, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
            • Yes, that is satisfactory. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 20:48, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
              • Okay, thanks for letting me know! --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 22:03, February 16, 2018 (UTC)
Jinzler
  • In the introduction they are referred to as "the Poletecs" but in the body of the article they are referred to as "the Poletec". Which is correct, and could you be consistent throughout the article? Jinzler (talk) 20:39, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
    • Objection(s) overridden by AgriCorps 19:39, March 5, 2018 (UTC)
    • StarWars.com uses the term "Poletecs," although the databank never calls them "the Poletec" or "the Poletecs." However, because most sentences with the words do not include the "s," I changed "the Poletecs" whenever I found those words. Long story short, I believe that when adding a "the" before "Poletec" omit the s, and when just saying "Poletecs," keep the s. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 01:46, February 22, 2018 (UTC)
  • As per the Layout Guide, the "Society and culture" section should come before the "History" section, rather than after. Jinzler (talk) 20:39, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
    • Objection(s) overridden by AgriCorps 19:39, March 5, 2018 (UTC)
    • Okay, I inserted "Society and culture" before the History section but after "Biology and appearance." --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 01:46, February 22, 2018 (UTC)
  • You mention in the "Behind the scenes" section that they spoke their own language. It may therefore be beneficial to note in the "Society and culture" section that they spoke a native language. Also, if you consider it sufficiently notable, you could create a separate article on the Polotec language to link to. Jinzler (talk) 20:39, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
    • Objection(s) overridden by AgriCorps 19:39, March 5, 2018 (UTC)
    • I don't believe that their native language is that notable. I added that native language bit into the S and C section. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 01:46, February 22, 2018 (UTC)
  • When the mission to Skako Minor is introduced, it may be beneficial if you could provide the specific date when that took place (the "A Distant Echo" article indicates it was 19 BBY). Jinzler (talk) 20:48, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
    • Objection(s) overridden by AgriCorps 19:39, March 5, 2018 (UTC)
    • Yes. I added "19 BBY," however I am not sure as to whether it requires a source or not. Any more suggestions? --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 01:46, February 22, 2018 (UTC)
      • It most certainly does. Imperators II(Talk) 09:43, February 27, 2018 (UTC)
        • Okay. What source should I make a reference from? --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:08, February 27, 2018 (UTC)
          • Star Wars: Galactic Atlas would be a good start, but you'll have to check for yourself. 1358 (Talk) 20:50, February 27, 2018 (UTC)
            • Ahhh...I remember this one...okay, done. --B32(Talk)I-find-this-atire-appealing 22:17, February 27, 2018 (UTC)
DarthRuiz
  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't find a direct mention of this mission on Galactic Atlas stating that it was on the 19 BBY, because of it you need to explain why 19 BBY is referenced to the Atlas. Like this
    • Okay, I'd do that, but I'm not sure what other events happen around this time. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:07, March 20, 2018 (UTC)
      • You need to see which events are close to the battle, once you do that you should be able to make an approximation of why this battle is on the 19BBY--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:48, March 21, 2018 (UTC)
        • Ummm...I'm not sure what other events happened at this time. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 01:17, March 22, 2018 (UTC)
          • You can look at the 19 BBY page and see which events happened and then compare it to the Galactic Atlas timeline and find a way to point this mission to 19 BBY--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 04:22, March 22, 2018 (UTC)
            • They are in chronological order? --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 21:16, March 22, 2018 (UTC)
              • They should be. The episode is after Ahsoka leaving the Order and before Episode III, both events placed by Galactic Atlas on the 19 BBY. With that you can create the explanation of why that mission was on the 19--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 06:16, March 25, 2018 (UTC)
                • My apologies for not getting back to you until now. I created the explanation with the reference. Thank you for the trouble! --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:49, April 3, 2018 (UTC)
  • There's several paragraphs from the history section without any reference--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:35, March 14, 2018 (UTC)
    • I fixed/sourced those. --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:07, March 20, 2018 (UTC)
QGJ
  • In the infobox you list only purple and white skin color. However, in the actual article, you refer to "purple, red, and beige-skinned, lanky humanoids." There needs to be some consistency.
    • Oi vey these are a lot of errors. Anyway, forgive, me, as I will most likely not be able to fix them anytime soon, apart from this one. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
  • There should probably exist an article for the Poletec language.
    • In my opinion, I don't believe they need one. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
      • We have articles for most unique languages spoken by various species, and I fail to see how this one is any different. There is enough unique information about the language to include in a separate article. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 12:48, April 13, 2018 (UTC)
  • The first sentence of the history section fits better in "society and culture," IMO.
    • I will fix it when I get the chance. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
  • I would like to see the presence of the Techno Union on the planet and the creation of their weapon established earlier in the history section, instead of throwing them in midway.
    • I will fix it when I get the chance. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
  • Skywalker and the clones then convinced the Poletec to help them fight against the Techno Union's droid forces. Many Poletec warriors were killed by Octuptarra tri-droids and D-wing droids during the fighting. There's a missing link between the two sentences. Specifically, the moment when the battle actually begins needs to be established. Right now this part talks about Skywalker asking for help, and then all of sudden it talks about the casualties.
    • Good catch! I will fix it when I get the chance. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
  • I'm confused as to how the clone troopers were able to understand their language. Was it established in the episodes?
    • One clone used some head device to translate for them. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
      • This needs to be mentioned in the article, then. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 12:48, April 13, 2018 (UTC)
  • Context on Wrecker needed.
    • I will fix that when I get the chance. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
  • Are there really no other relevant quotes available in the two episodes? Nothing said by Skywalker or the clones that refers to the species?
    • I'm not sure... Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
  • The episode premiered on April 17, 2015, and was released on the official Star Wars website soon after, as part of The Clone Wars Legacy. Where did it premier first?
    • I'll have to check later. Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
  • Those guys are creepy. QuiGonJinn Senate seal(Talk) 15:15, April 8, 2018 (UTC)
    • Not at all. Those "guys" are one of the most unique species in the galaxy! --Boot Lover (Wanna Discuss Something?)I-find-this-atire-appealing 20:25, April 11, 2018 (UTC)
