  • I dislike the use of "X was created for Y" without a source. We know authors and LFL in general recycle unused material in future products, Voorpak for example. NBDani TeamFireballLogo-Collider(they/them)Yeager's Repairs 18:59, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
    • Sure, except in this case before appearing in the novel the subject appeared in a preview of the same novel. So I'm not seeing the problem here (as was potentially the case where a subject first appeared in some form of adaptation of a larger work). Imperators II(Talk) 06:44, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
      • First mentioned/appeared works here absolutely. My issue is saying the concept was created *for* LOTJ. When for-all-we-know the author recycled the concept from an earlier work it wasn't used in. NBDani TeamFireballLogo-Collider(they/them)Yeager's Repairs 10:42, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
        • Again, though, I understand that concern when a subject appears in different works or even different types of media. Here, on the other hand, we have no evidence that the subject may have been reused, and assuming it could have been here feels like a stretch to me; it feels too assumptive and failing Occam's razor.
