Eyre made me do it
  • Nothing bolded in the intro?
  • Two consecutive sentences in the intro start with "they were".
  • Overall, you use they and their quite a lot in the intro. Perhaps replace some of them with "species"?
  • "In 1 ABY, the outcast faction, under the leadership of Klysk, kidnapped scoundrels from the galactic fringe to mount a raid on the temple where the gems were kept to steal the jewels and destroy them, thus hastening what they believed to be the species' true destiny: extinction." Looong sentence.
  • Article for this mission? "Two years later, Domina Tagge led a mission to the world to steal.."
  • Death from above: Context on Vader and Luke?
  • In the galaxy: The heading currently looks strange. Perhaps "The species in the galaxy" would be better?
  • 1358 (Talk) 09:24, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
    • All should be addressed. Thanks for taking a look! ~ SavageBob 17:24, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
L'Imperialles
  • Society and culture: "an astrological feature far from the main body of the galaxy" Would it be possible to sneak in a ref to the main galaxy map from TEA here? Slightly more accurate than the Marvel issue, I should think. Not a huge problem, of course. The writing is very good as usual, and I must say it's about time someone FAed these guys (if only to complement Red Nebula). --Imperialles 18:32, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
    • Good idea on the ref; done. Je vous remercie pour la revue. ~ SavageBob 20:57, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
      • Pas de problème! --Imperialles 12:31, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
Green Tentacle
  • Theft of the Great Life Gems: "…as they and Solo watched…" I assumed Han had been rounded up with the other scoundrels. At the risk of getting to far away from the species, any chance of a brief mention of him being left behind at some point and why?
  • Death from above: Last paragraph lost me a little. Did Tagge booby trap the one? And the plague just comes out of nowhere. If that's why Tagge wanted them then it would be better to mention it earlier. And Did the species know about it?
  • The intro mentions the Red Nebula's destruction raining down on the valley after the gems were removed. The body doesn't seem to mention this. Green Tentacle (Talk) 21:01, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
    • Sorry for taking so long to reply; I didn't notice these objections until Eyrezer brought them to my attention! I'm finishing up a semester of school, but i'll be done on Wednesday, so I hope it's not a big deal for me to address your concerns then. ~ SavageBob 23:54, December 10, 2010 (UTC)
    • OK, all should be addressed. Thanks for taking a look, and sorry again for the lag before my response. ~ SavageBob 03:18, December 13, 2010 (UTC)

  • How about mentioning Kraaken in the BTS as being a potential member of this species? He is identical to these guys. --Eyrezer 07:27, September 6, 2010 (UTC)
    • I didn't realise he was created by the same people! --Eyrezer 23:30, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
      • Yeah, same author, same illustrator, same appearance, stories in production at roughly the same time... I'm inclined to duck test Kraaken as a member of the same species, but the existence of so many other pointy-eared near-Humans means I think we'll have to relegate him to BTS until something official comes out. ~ SavageBob 23:33, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
        • Yeah, it is an interesting contrast to the Viidaav waiters, which is uncontentious. Williamson still alive to check with? :P --Eyrezer 00:19, September 10, 2010 (UTC)
  • Keep in mind that the SW.com forums recently underwent a complete overhaul, and that newer posts in their threads now appear at the beginning, rather than the end, of threads. As such, most of our links to sw.com threads need to be updated. There's a good way to do it that's a little tricky, but check out Master Jonathan's mini-tutorial on it here. I took care of this one for ya (and changed it to the cite_web template, just 'cause you can indicate the date and time of the post for easier navigation), but definitely make the change for Jeby and any other noms that link to the sw.com forums. If you have any questions about it, I'm more than happy to help out! Menkooroo 14:46, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
    • Ah, thanks for that! It took me some trial and error, but I've updated Jeby and Pitrillistian (as well as an older DaA winner article). Thank Canu starwars.com didn't just erase all the old messages with the redesign like they did when they redesigned their main site. ~ SavageBob 15:07, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
      • Great job! :^) And yeah, I'm thankful SW.com kept all the old messages too. If not, cite_web has an archive function that Xicer's a lot better at than I am, but hopefully it won't come to that. Menkooroo 15:10, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • One question that isn't strightly related to this article, but, I wonder how Luke got the disease, was he (and other rebels) present when the gem stones were activated? –Tm_T (Talk) 10:36, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
    • Sorry, just noticed your message, Tm. Luke gets the disease by investigating a derelict star destroyer that has a bunch of infected Imperials on it. Domina Tagge's goal was to spread the disease, so he was one of her victims (albeit one who was later saved). ~ SavageBob 00:13, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
  • Take note of the changes I made and consider them in your future endeavors. Mostly issues with tense, but one particular minipara I moved and combined with a prior, more context-relevant one so as to make more sense when reading. Otherwise, good job. I love MSW.—Tommy 9281 19:10, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
    • Much obliged, Tommy. ~ SavageBob 19:17, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
