Oasis mother
- Nominated by: Jinzler (talk) 22:40, January 7, 2013 (UTC)
- Nomination comments: My first attempt at a species article. I expected this to be a GAN, but it somehow made it over the word limit.

Floyd has one thing
In the first body section, you seem to introduce "oasis children" twice, which is not necessary.IFYLOFD (Floyd's crib) 03:54, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
Savaged…
Can you vary the first sentence of B&A so it doesn't so closely mirror the first sentence of the lead?"almost the size of a small child" -- Do you mean a small oasis mother child, or a small human child? Can you mention who wrote Scourge?Rather than assuming the off-screen events of Tempest Feud (those not replicated in Scourge) are non-canon, would it not make more sense to include them in the article but put them in an ambiguous canon header/footer? ~Savage
18:16, February 4, 2013 (UTC)- Essentially, the attack in Tempest Feud takes place when the players are camping while en-route to the Temple Valley. However, in Scourge the characters that fulfill the role of the player characters travel to the valley by skiff and don't seem to spend the night, so this would seem to indicate that the attack by the oasis children is likely no longer canon, but we can't explicitly say anything either way. In light of this, what would you say is appropriate? I would prefer to err on the side of caution and not include anything in the body of the article, but you raise a valid point and I will concede to you if you think it best. I could maybe just explain this issue in greater detail in the BTS, but I have been trying to avoid discussing at length something that does not directly relate to the article's subject matter. What do you think? Also, thanks for your review! --Jinzler (talk) 19:29, February 7, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, I understand your concern. I checked {{Ambigstart}} and {{Noncanonstart}}, and neither seems to really fit. What about {{Twoconflicting}}? Then pair that with a bit more detail on the issue in BTS. It's not specifically pertinent to the species as a whole, sure, but it pertains to their appearances in canon. ~Savage

- Any chance of cropping parts of the infobox image for use in the main body of the article? As it is pretty high res, it looks like you could get a close-up of the blood sacks hanging from the tree for the Biology and appearance section, for instance. --Eyrezer (talk) 00:36, January 10, 2013 (UTC)
