2. As pointed out below, Luke is one of THE most major characters, and as a result, he deserves more than what is cuurently writtren about him. As for a model article for a character this significant, think Palpatine. Adamwankenobi 23:35, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

5. As I have been pretty much the only one doing major expansions on Luke, I must note that he is missing a personality and romance section. This article would not be so image-heavy if more information was added to it- something I am currently working on. Therefore, I withdraw my vote. • This article needs to be fetured badly because it is the main character in the original trilogy and worthy of the title
• It's tuff, but yes. The only thing I have agenst Mr. L. Skywalker is he, for some weird reason, blew up Jabba's barge as he was excaping. It made no sence. Other than that, yes, yes, yes. --Jabbathehuttgartogg 23:15, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
• Well, I shaped the Yuuzhan Vong War section to its modern shape after all, and should show my support. However strictly speaking, many early Star Wars stories (like Marvel?) with Luke's appearances was not shown here. Darth Kevinmhk 06:40, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
  • I have to second that, there's just not enough info. Almost all Luke's adventures after the movies are unmentioned as well. I could overlook most of the Marvel experiences being excluded, but the info from the Del Rey books? There's no info on Luke's whereabouts or dealings during the Establishment of a New Jedi Order either, just a few excerpts describing his romantic relationships. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for detailing who Luke hooked up with, but that is slim pickings to all he accomplished and did during that era. Cull Tremayne 18:24, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

        • Nice job, but there's still loads more. What was Luke doing during the First Corellian Insurrection? Didn't Luke have his leg injured by Gamorreans during Darksaber? Wasn't there some role that Luke played during the Leviathan incident? I like the general overview you've given it, but it's just a starting point really. It doesn't actually tell the individual events of the story like in the Yuuzhan Vong War section, it just gives an almost informationless overview. Cull Tremayne 06:18, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
          • Well, if you want me to do with Luke with Erik Pflueger (sp?) has done to Palpatine, I can do it, but it will take a good amount of time. Also, it will mean lots of trips to the library.               • I'm not looking for it to be the massive article that Palpatine is (but with all the stories Luke has been in, it should be) I'm just looking for something more than the most basic summary. Details are what make the featured articles great, and since Luke is the biggest character in all of Star Wars, shouldn't he get that courtesy? Cull Tremayne 21:03, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
                • I see your point, Tremayne, and I am working hard on the problem, okay. But these things take time. If you look at the article now, I have greatly expanded the sections on the Courtship of Princess Leia and Truce at Bakura. Is that about how much info you would prefer on each subject or is still more needed? Keep in mind that I am usually going off my memory alone since I don't have most of the sources.                   • Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about. Nice details on the courtship story, very good summary. Now if only that could be done for all of the post RotJ Bantam era books. Here's a brief list of what I think should be added to the article.

• Some more details on the Jedi Academy trilogy. Where did Luke go to find his apprentices? How did he convince them to attend? Didn't Luke have a climactic duel with Kyp during the books? How about when Luke's spirit was directing his students to protect his body? What happened there?
• I know the Callista Trilogy is painful, but ten sentences for three books? Who went with Luke to the Eye of Palpatine? Callista was a major romantic interest in the Bantam era. Why was she? There's not enough info there.
• The Crystal Star and The New Rebellion. Details, details, details. What happened in the Dolph/Luke duel? Why did Luke lose? How did Leia and Han rescue him? What brought Luke to Crseih station? Why was he drawn to Waru?
• I'd like to see some more detail on where Luke went during the Black Fleet Crisis. That was a big adventure for him, and as it is now, it basically says that he went on a search for his supposed mother, and that it ended in tragedy. Why did it end in tragedy? Where did the adventure take them? How did Luke convince the Fallanassi to help end the crisis? I'd still like to see some details about what they did at the subsequent locations instead of just a list.
• The First Corellian Insurrection. Anything would be good at this point. A lot happened to Luke there, and there's nothing written.

• Geez, like I said already, I am working on it but right now, I do not have any of those sources and have to reconstruct using only the powers of my memory, a laborious and difficult process. • Please sign your post above. Also, so far I have added/expanded the 1st Corellian Crisis, Truce at Bakura, Courtship of Princess Leia and Survivor's Quest.
