First Battle of Felucia

  • Nominated by: CC7567 (talk) 07:46, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
  • Nomination comments: It's beyond me why it got so much attention from publications, but here it is. An oversized GA that I need to get out of the way.

  4. Good job. I found the Felucia animation sequences to be particularly well executed.--ID-21 Dolphin DolphinJedi(Talk) 01:00, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

  • "Tano, meanwhile, was assigned to take a pair of AT-TE walkers and a Juggernaut tank on a patrol of the dense jungle, but when she encountered groups of battle droids and Armored Assault Tanks just six kilometers east of the clones' main position, she chose not to return to the besieged clone encampment in the clearing as scheduled and instead led her patrol against the droids, deflecting laser shots with her lightsaber from atop her Juggernaut, while her clone tank gunners concentrated the AT-TE walkers' fire on the droids." I'd prefer if this extremely long sentence was split into two. :P
    • Fixed.
  • I'd also prefer if one of the "Ventress did not relent" would be replaced with a synonym.
    • Switcherooed.
  • And that's every nitpicky thing I could find. Excellent work otherwise. 1358 (Talk) 17:23, January 22, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks for the review. :) CC7567 (talk) 17:45, January 22, 2011 (UTC)

  • The "Aftermath" section should probably mention something about the Destruction of the Felucia Medical Center and the events seen in the episode "Bounty Hunters". Also, you should link to the Outer Rim Sieges battle in that section as well.--ID-21 Dolphin DolphinJedi(Talk) 20:31, January 23, 2011 (UTC)
    • We don't know which event happens first, so it would be speculation to assume that the First Battle of Felucia comes first just because "Holocron Heist" was aired before "Bounty Hunters."
  • Also, in the "Appearances" section, the game "Air Strike" is probably non-canon since it's an olnine game with no real storylibe, otherwise, it should at least be called an "ambiguous" source. Otherwise, great job on the article!--ID-21 Dolphin DolphinJedi(Talk) 20:34, January 23, 2011 (UTC)
    • "Probably" ≠ is—if it's an officially licensed Lucasfilm product, it's canon, and the lack of a "real storyline" does not automatically make it non-canon. Thank you for the review. CC7567 (talk) 20:40, January 23, 2011 (UTC)
      • Still, I do think the ambiguous template would work best. Otherwise, I'm ready to support the article.--ID-21 Dolphin DolphinJedi(Talk) 21:32, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
        • Sorry to butt in, but there's no legitimate evidence for suggesting that this game is anything but full canon. Not having a "real storylibe" is not good enough. We consider everything as fully canonical until we have proof to consider it otherwise. Toprawa and Ralltiir 21:36, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
          • All right. Otherwise, I'm really being nitpicky here, the article as a whole is nicely written. —Unsigned comment by ID-21 Dolphin (talk • contribs)
Green Tentacle
  • Just one little question. In "The Republic in retreat" Cody's leading his men into the evacuation ships and the Jedi Knight is flying around, then they next pop up manning a base and being last to get evacuated. Can you add some mention of them going there to make it flow better? Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:50, February 21, 2011 (UTC)
    • Ah, you caught the flub I forgot about for all this time. :P The original issue was that it wasn't explained when and how they got back to the base (since "Holocron Heist," "Republic Defender," and "Starfighter" all seem to exist in their own little worlds without even referencing each other), but given that Cody and the Jedi Knight were the last to retreat, I think it's plausible to assume that that section took place last. I've added a little tidbit, so hopefully the confusion should be cleared up. Thanks for the review. :) CC7567 (talk) 08:05, February 26, 2011 (UTC)
