  • The Korean subtitles on Disney+ confirm that Bichan's name is 비찬 in that language, which I think should be noted in the BTS along with the meaning of 비 (I used the Collins and Cambridge dictionaries). On a cursory search, I believe 찬 has no meaning and is just used as a suffix of sorts. OOM 224 (he/him) 13:16, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
    • Uh, that sounds super trivia-like to me...? How would that be different from saying that, say, Raina Temple's name contained the morpheme "rain"? Imperators II(Talk) 14:33, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
      • The language uses single-syllabic characters each with their own meaning to form words rather than spelling them with letters that correspond with sounds, so 비 is basically only definable as rain; that's the character's inherent meaning. Plus, a reader who doesn't know Korean wouldn't know that Bichan's name means rain, which I think is plausibly thematically relevant here. OOM 224 (he/him) 17:28, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
        • Alright, I suppose you're right that there might be a thematic connection to rain there. Does the way I've noted that work for you? Imperators II(Talk) 20:42, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
