The Korean subtitles on Disney+ confirm that Bichan's name is 비찬 in that language, which I think should be noted in the BTS along with the meaning of 비 (I used the Collins and Cambridge dictionaries). - The language uses single-syllabic characters each with their own meaning to form words rather than spelling them with letters that correspond with sounds, so 비 is basically only definable as rain; that's the character's inherent meaning. Plus, a reader who doesn't know Korean wouldn't know that Bichan's name means rain, which I think is plausibly thematically relevant here. OOM 224 (he/him) 17:28, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
