  • Both Timelines and Nexus of Power need to be checked to streamline the dating. It's not necessary to say "established by 65 BBY" if the article later specifies that the company was involved in something in 65 BBY. "the Naboo people" also seems to be a bit ambiguous, and I think it's worth reading around the sources to see if maybe the Naboo government, the royal house/monarch, Palpatine, and/or the Senate were involved specifically. Complete Locations is a possible lead, and it's got multiple editions too. I believe the Theed Hangar is in the same complex as the refinery, and the hangar's article does mention that it was built under King Bon Tapalo.
  • Given the importance of this to the whole Naboo Crisis and Episode I, I think a lot more context could also be given to how plasma mining affected Naboo's environment and people (which again I think Complete Locations goes into on multiple pages) and the Sith plot (i.e. Palpatine was a Sith Lord and he also controlled the Trade Federation, plus Damask Holdings was owned by Plagueis, but I'm not sure to what extent canon, or at least Nexus of Power which straddles the two continuities, goes into this).
  • Again, based on my memory of Complete Locations, maybe some Techno Union or Sith context for Mustafar? Perhaps consider putting Naboo in the location field as well, given the company's involvement there (it's clearly a significant investment, even if we don't know if they had an office there).
    • Leaving brief note that (some) of the above was sorted, after consulting with Lew on some of the points and researching into it. However, we felt that it would be inadvisable to lean too heavily into recanonizing Legends even if that may have been the author's intent. To that end, Plagueis having owned it (in current canon) has yet to be said in any form, and even Palpatine's association with it (in current canon) is just the opening ceremonies of the company's complex, and I guess that he liked the design, which is a bit detail-heavy for a company article and better suited to the complex itself.
    • Tying onto above, while did flesh out as much context as sourceably possible for the company's complex and its significance, tying in the Sith plot, and some of the further requested context, veers into OR for what we currently have available in the new canon. There's not enough meat to back up trying to make those connections in prose, or to even allude to them, particularly regarding Plagueis who isn't confirmed to have been involved.
    • There was no one person specific for opening the complex, just that it was a joint venture between "the Naboo" (taken to mean Naboo people in most contexts) and Damask Holdings. The government, monarchy, Palpatine (other than opening ceremony and influence on the TF invasion in 32 BBY), and Senate are not confirmed to be involved.
    • Same thing for the Bon Tapalo thing; unconfirmable to be relevant here. The Hangar itself began construction under Tapalo's reign, but we haven't a clue when it started. The complex is confirmed to be adjacent and connected to, and somewhat of an add-on of the hangar, but one built onto the existing bit so stretching it to have the plasma complex's construction started during that reign would be a stretch.—spookywillowwtalk 22:19, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

  • Suggesting a temporary hold on this article re: the above Complete Locations point since the new edition of CL coming out in roughly a month may expand more on some of that stuff, or potentially otherwise amend the content on the original pages. May as well leave it off probation in the system until after that book's out to see whether its savable as a CA past that or if more info will shove it over.—spookywillowwtalk 22:56, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
