Object

  1. Risin' up to the challenge of our rival!
    • In all seriousness, are umbrellas canon? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 21:31, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
      • A fair question; I couldn't name a source that uses them (and if anyone can, it would be greatly appreciated). But the fact that Latara and Kneesaa used it suggests that, while the object itself may or may not have been canon, the utilities of an umbrella were in demand. If we cannot find a source that names umbrellas, what do you suggest?—Axinal Convocation Chamber 21:41, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
        • They're canon; Wedge and Qwi Xux use one in Darksaber, and Obi-Wan sees a vendor using one in The Desperate Mission. Lando mentions one in The Mindharp of Sharu, too. ~SavageBAliens LogoB~ 22:02, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
          • If you want to use an existing article, I just found parasol. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 22:04, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
            • Great, thank you both. I'll just use Bob's sources and go ahead and create an article.—Axinal Convocation Chamber 22:36, April 5, 2011 (UTC)

    • I hope I don't sound too much like an astrography-geek (which I am), but shouldn't the article link to Endor's sun Ibleam if it already links to "sun"? Imperators II(Talk) 22:08, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
      • I actually considered doing that when I was writing the article. Sounds fine with me. Thanks!—Axinal Convocation Chamber 22:36, April 5, 2011 (UTC)
  3. It doesn't matter which method you use, both are acceptable, but please be consistent: in the infobox, you link each color separately, but in the article prose, you only link the first one to color. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 01:39, April 6, 2011 (UTC)
    • I originally linked only one color; it looks like NaruHina changed that on me. I'll change it back. Thanks for the review!—Axinal Convocation Chamber 02:47, April 6, 2011 (UTC)
      • Sorry about that. I didn't know simply linking to Color was acceptable now. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 03:59, April 6, 2011 (UTC)
        • No problem, Naru. I just learned recently when Toprawa informed me. I appreciate your review.—Axinal Convocation Chamber 04:01, April 6, 2011 (UTC)
  • Bob
    • You'll need to cite a source for Wicket and Kneesaa's full names, as they never go by them in the cartoon; I believe The Essential Guide to Characters would be the best bet. Or you could do what I normally do and just never use the full name (calling them Kneesaa and Wicket W. Warrick instead).
      • Didn't realize that was necessary. I'll just use the latter option.
    • Sorry for the redlink, but this pond probably deserves an article.
      • I agree, and the article is created.
    • This is borderline, I think, but I'd be more comfortable with a source after the BTS info of airing dates and credits. I think "A Star Wars CELibration" should work. ~SavageBOB sig 00:27, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
      • Certainly.
    • Since the creature is protecting them from the sun, perhaps you should link to parasol somewhere.
      • I've linked already to the umbrella article, which describes that they were used for protection from sunlight. Parasol, as described in the article, is more of a piece of furniture.
        • I won't oppose because of it, but I think it's safe to assume a parasol in Star Wars is the same as a parasol in the real-world, so you could always pipelink the second use of the term "umbrella" to that article. Up to you, though. ~SavageBOB sig 02:42, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
    • Oh, one more thing: Is the umbrella-creature wearing yellow knickers? ~SavageBOB sig 00:28, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
      • Yes, it appears it is. Do you think that's worthy of mention?
        • I would; just say that the specific one that Wicket scared was wearing a pink garment about its loins or something. I'm not sure how to phrase it, since it's not necessarily underwear. Just be careful to avoid suggesting that this is somehow typical; for all we know Kneesaa dressed it and this is her pet or something. ~SavageBOB sig 02:42, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
          • Added a brief phrase about it; see what you think.—Axinal Convocation Chamber 02:51, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
      • Thanks for the copy-edit and the review! I've altered the last sentence of the biology and appearance, so you may want to look at it again and make sure you're okay with it.—Axinal Convocation Chamber 00:40, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
        • Looks fine! ~SavageBOB sig 02:42, April 10, 2011 (UTC)
