I don't believe the information on Torn Station as provided by The Essential Atlas is being presented correctly here. The passage in the Atlas mentions the station, then describes the system it's in, and then states that "slavers, pirates and, smugglers all have hideouts here." I believe that instead of the station, the "here" refers to the system that's full of asteroids and comets. It'd make more sense for slavers, pirates, and smugglers to be hiding among asteroids and comets (and there's more than ample precedent for that in the Star Wars universe to make it plausible) than aboard a single space station.Imperators II(Talk) 10:27, January 24, 2020 (UTC)- I really disagree. The subject of the passage is the station, indicated by Torn Station being written in bold text, and the mention of the system is supporting information about the station, rather than a switch of the subjects that continues into the following sentence. If I write "Earth is a planet in a galaxy full of stars. Commander Code-8 has a spaceship here." the correct way to read that is that my spaceship is on Earth rather than in the wider galaxy, even if the latter meaning makes a bit more sense. I think if the Atlas writers had intended your interpretation they would have written something like "Torn Station was a refueling stop in a system full of asteroids, where slavers, pirates and smugglers had hideouts."
