  • i'd reccomend using a synonym for 'mothballed'
    • It is indeed quite a specific term suitable for the context of navy ships. Do you have any alternatives? Loqiical (talk) 22:46, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
      • ah, wasn't aware. probably a personal preference then.
  • was only the Simoom mothballed or all the Maelstrom-class battle cruisers? It's not clear in the text. BloodOfIrizi Sabine Starbird (talk) 22:09, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
    • The text says that surviving Maelstroms were mothballed, which includes Simoom, but I believe that the rule is to provide specific information on the article's subject rather than speaking in general. Loqiical (talk) 22:46, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
      • it couldn't hurt to mention it, something like The Empire mothballed the Simoom, along with the Maelstrom-class battle cruisers[…] BloodOfIrizi Sabine Starbird (talk) 23:36, 9 November 2022 (UTC)
        • Done. I used "some" because the book states that other Maelstroms were scrapped or repurposed. Loqiical (talk) 01:00, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
Braha
  • For chronological purposes, I would like it's affiliation with the Alliance to be left until the starship was acquired by the rebels in the article's text.
    • Done, but isn't it better to first state the most 'recent' thing? Loqiical (talk) 22:36, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
      • I'm not aware of a consistent practice but my practice is starting with some sort of descriptor (like its ship class) that is consistent for much of, if not all, of the chronological history. Either that or just start out with what it was first. But that's at least my case for these kind of articles. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 08:55, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
  • You should properly specify that the Republic became the Empire, then the reorganisation of the navy makes better sense in that sentence. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 22:27, 13 November 2022 (UTC)

DFaceG
  • Per Wookieepedia:Sourcing#References that require explanation, the traits typical of the Maelstrom-class should be mentioned unless explicitly stated to differ. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 22:27, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Issue seems unclear at the moment per Discord, and a conflict between existing precedent and a lack of a codified exception regarding ships. Striking for now, pending further discussion. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 23:40, 18 November 2022 (UTC)

  • Similarly to this GA is there a way for you to work in that these ships had been moved into Alliance service by the time of the Galactic Civil War? Just to give a bit more context on how long the ship was in service after 19 BBY.—spookywillowwtalk 15:00, 24 November 2022 (UTC)
