I apologize for taking it long, but is "Animal control department" a type of organization. Perhaps only "Control department". (Otherwise animal can be linked there too.)Since it was dissolved by the Galactic Empire to cut costs, I think we can say that it was affiliated with the Empire for a while. - Regarding the department's potential affiliations, there isn't really any evidence that the department was actually affiliated with the Empire, IMO. As we don't even know when in the Empire's first eight years the department was shut down, I think it would be stretching it a bit too much to say it was actually outright an Imperial organization.
