I'm seeing some details from that quote that can be documented in the body. Does the Codex entry also specify who Veriga is talking to?UberSoldat93(talk) 19:09, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- What specifically are you referring to? I'm not sure what details you mean. Also, no, it's simply a quote from his court-martial, nothing more. Cade

- Then that should be included in the attribution. As for the actual body, there's the character's point of view on the matter. "Why die trying?" especially feels like a crucial personality detail. UberSoldat93

- Can also point out what they said during that court-martial. UberSoldat93

- Like I said in Discord, I disagree. The details from the Codex are all present, and there's no need to go into details about what they specifically said during the court-martial, as that's never been a requirement for documenting dialogue from novels or other sources. Having the quote convey the character's opinion and attribute it to their court-martial is enough. Cade

- After speaking with fellow ECs, two of them agree (OOM included) that the quote can be summarized in prose. As OOM pointed out below, banking on the reader to figure it out themselves is a bad practice. UberSoldat93

Comments
- For the quote, yes, there's no need to document every dialogue detail, but a bit of repetition would be beneficial here. Readers can't be expected to piece together quote-exclusive info, so the prose should at least mention the fact that they spoke at the tribunal and summarise that they admitted and took responsibility.
