Objections

Bonzane
  • Reference shouldn't be cited to the episode itself unless it's explicitly confirmed there. Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 16:14, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
    • I tried looking everywhere and theres no 'direct' confirmation. Should I include that section in the bts? - D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 16:28, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
      • You can note it as the subject sharing its name to Chip and Dale, though you'd need a separate citation still since the episode didn't establish Chip and Dale. Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 18:30, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
        • Fixed. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 16:15, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
          • Sorry for the late response! Should be good for now. Bonzane10 Bonzane10-Sig 00:34, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
Lew
  • Was it mentioned only on the sign/menu? If so, the BTS and apps section should make this clearer, since right now it reads like it was mentioned in some form of dialogue/narration Lewisr (talk) 18:43, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
    • Done. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 19:20, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
  • The release date needs another source since it cannot directly be sourced to the short itself, would suggest using what's on the short's page Lewisr (talk) 18:43, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
    • Done. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 19:20, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
  • I don't see anything in the cited source in the BTS for it being a reference to Chip and Dale, is there a source where it was directly addressed? Lewisr (talk) 18:43, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
    • Like I said to stake black, while there is no direct reference to Chip and Dale, the reference does refer to "colliding with a number of beloved figures from the vast Disney library" and "features dozens of cameos from all corners of the Disney library". Let me know if this is good for the reference. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 19:20, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
      • I'd say no because it's not an official soure connecting it, and it's pretty vague anyway Lewisr (talk) 15:08, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
        • Alright, well that was my only source that said anything, so I'll remove everything in the article about the crossover. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 01:16, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
          • Can always be readded if/when a source addresses it, but better to not have it for now Lewisr (talk) 04:12, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

  • "The flavor's name was a pun referencing both chocolate chip ice cream and the classic Disney characters Chip and Dale.[2]" ⇠ the reference provided here doesn't seem to support this statement. Stake black msg 13:35, 5 July 2025 (UTC)

Comments

I think it'd still make sense to add File:31HundredFlavors.png to the article, though not in the infobox. Stake black msg 04:22, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

  • I added it but still don't totally see the point in adding it as it just shows it's name on a menu and not the actual ice cream itself, but if other people agree with putting it up then I am fine with that. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 05:28, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Is this nomination, still in place? Its been over a week and still no EduCorps have reviewed and no one else has said anything. I ain't mad, just asking if this is still in place. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 04:32, 25 June 2025 (UTC)

Unless a nomination is marked as archived (like this, with the "preserved as an archive" text) it's still open. Nominations regularly take up to a month on the CANs; reviewers are volunteers, and a quick look at WP:CAN shows there are 17 nominations older than this one. Its worth noting that nominators who review others' work in return usually, in return, get their own nominations reviewed faster.—spookywillowwtalk 04:40, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Got it just didn't know if mine got forgotten lol. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 04:56, 25 June 2025 (UTC)

Question: do articles like these (non-canon crossovers with other IPs) typically need to include the plot? Stake black msg 01:23, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

  • Yes. See Heinz Darthenshmirtz, a featured article from a different crossover; we also have many other crossover status articles.—spookywillowwtalk 02:15, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
    • D MCCG: It seems you'll need to incorporate the plot into this article. Stake black msg 09:11, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
      • There wasn't plot involved with this ice cream flavor, or even the stand itself, it was in the background of a scene when a customer bought an ice cream from the stand, never mentioning this flavor, so I don't really see a point in adding a "plot", as there really isn't one. ~ D MCCG D MCCG (chat) 07:00, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
