Chocolate chip was a type of chocolate cookie that was edible by humans.[1] In 182 BBY,[2] Jedi Academy students Victor Starspeeder and Artemis Oophanoe read books on the Forest Moon of Endor for a project. While reading, Starspeeder took notes by writing down his favorite cookies, including Chocolate chip, the Wookiee cookie, Bantha Barks, and Choco droids.[1]

Behind the scenes

Chocolate chip was mentioned in the 2016 non-canon young-reader's novel Jedi Academy: A New Class, written and illustrated by Jarrett J. Krosoczka as the fourth installment in the Star Wars: Jedi Academy series.[1] In the real world, chocolate chip cookies mix dough with a variety of other ingredients, including chocolate chips, eggs and sugar.[3]
