• The date note is confusing for me. How do we know that the week ending with Empire Day makes it 13 BBY? Does the novel specify it as the thirteenth Empire Day? As for the bracketed statement, how is that taken from the parts mentioned beforehand, how does the novel establish that stuff, and more importantly, how is the 14 BBY stuff relevant here?
