Woodoo were a species of nesting creature found on the planet Tatooine. The child of two miners living in a homestead near Mos Entha could hear the calls of nesting woodoo during the otherwise silent nights at the homestead.[1]

In the current Star Wars canon, Woodoo first appeared in the non-canon 2015 video game Disney Infinity 3.0. They were later mentioned in the 2019 Star Wars: Choose Your Destiny mini-adventure Choose Your Destiny: An Escape Mission, which was written by Cavan Scott.[1] The species originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they first appeared in the 2001 reference book The Wildlife of Star Wars: A Field Guide, which was written by Terryl Whitlatch and Bob Carrau.[2]
