Wolentic Dudge was a Frejuke resident of Kijimi City on the planet Kijimi. He was a good fit for the world's cold climate due to his species' heat-retaining blubber, although he also wore a brown vest lined with kybuck fur for added warmth,[1] as well as brown pants, brown shoes, and a black belt with a comlink built into the buckle.[2] A proud member of the city, Dudge was forced to endure its occupation under the First Order[1] in 35 ABY, which ended with the destruction of Kijimi by the Sith Eternal.[3] Dudge had light skin and dark eyes that were sensitive to glare.[2]
Behind the scenes
Wolentic Dudge was created for the film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker,[4] which was released on December 20, 2019.[5] A concept sculpture of the character, titled "Wizard 60," was created by artist Ivan Manzella.[4] Dudge's name was first revealed in the reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo[2] and released on the same day as the film.[6] The character was portrayed by veteran Star Wars actor Warwick Davis, continuing the tradition of Davis's characters having names beginning with a "W". Davis also portrayed Wizzich Mozzer in the film.[7]
