Wingblades were a curved bladed weapon associated with the Talortai species. The Talortai navigator Udi Dis carried a pair of wingblades; during his time with the Nihil, the wingblades were his only remaining possession from his home of Talor.[1]

Behind the scenes

Wingblades originated in the new Star Wars canon in the 2021 novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, written by Cavan Scott.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, in Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption, a 2006 expansion for the video game Star Wars: Empire at War, the Talortai Urai Fen is shown to wield curved bladed weapons.[2]
