Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A male individual was the grandfather of the Abednedo Path of the Open Hand member Whool and his brother Grael, and the father of their mother. Like other members of their family, such as their daughter and grandsons, they were a miner who sought adelyne crystals buried deep within their planet's crust.[1] In 382 BBY,[2] Whool mentioned his grandfather while telling a story to Keth Cerepath in the tapbar Enlightenment on Jedha.[1]

Whool's grandfather was mentioned in the short story "Tales of Enlightenment: A Different Perspective," written by George Mann and published in Star Wars Insider 215 as part of Star Wars: The High Republic's[1] Phase II[3] on December 6, 2022.[4]
