White bantha

White banthas were a type of large pack animal native to the frozen[1] Outer Rim world[2] of Nelvaan. They had vast amounts of white fur and long black horns.[1]

Behind the scenes

White banthas were first mentioned in canon by the reference book Star Wars: Absolutely Everything You Need to Know,[1] written by Adam Bray, Kerrie Dougherty, Cole Horton, and Michael Kogge and released on September 4, 2015.[3] The creatures first appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity in "Chapter 23" of the Star Wars: Clone Wars animated microseries,[4] which aired on March 22, 2005 on Cartoon Network.[5]
