- "Thanks to our partnership with Cartoon Network, we have been able to bring The Clone Wars into millions of homes not only in the United States, but around the world. We appreciate the support they have given the series and their enthusiasm for the brand."
- ―Tom Quinn, Lucasfilm's Head of Worldwide Distribution, in December 2012
Cartoon Network (CN) is an American cable television network and brand owned by The Cartoon Network, Inc., a part of Warner Bros. Discovery. The network's animation production arm Cartoon Network Studios co-produced (with Lucasfilm) and broadcasted the Star Wars: Clone Wars 2D animated series, which aired from 2003 to 2005. They would also broadcast new episodes of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars 3D animated series (produced by Lucasfilm Animation) from Season One in 2008 to Season Five in 2013. Additionally, Cartoon Network broadcasted the LEGO short films LEGO Star Wars: Revenge of the Brick, LEGO Star Wars: The Quest for R2-D2, LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace, and LEGO Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out, as well as the Robot Chicken: Star Wars, Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II, and Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III sketch comedy specials (the latter three via the network's late-night Adult Swim programming block). Many Star Wars games were also found on Cartoon Network's website, including Republic Ace, Fierce Twilight, and Path of the Jedi.
As part of Warner Bros. Discovery, Cartoon Network is part of the same conglomerate that encompasses Turner Network Television, which broadcasted the 3D animation television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars after Cartoon Network, and Warner Bros. Pictures, which distributed the Star Wars: The Clone Wars feature film.
