Whassik IV was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] in the Whassik system of the Mid Rim's Perkell sector. It fell within grid square Q-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The Mining Guild operated a mining operation on Whassik IV and,[2] in 3 ABY,[3] the operation cut down on droid automation. In doing so, it created fifty-four thousand new jobs, with the guild forecasting a significant increase in the operation's annual revenue with manageable risk to the new organic workers. The reduction in automation was covered in a HoloNet News broadcast by reporter Dorna Parros.[2]
