"The truth is, Lieutenant Quell, we weren't ready to win this war. Our supply lines are shot. I spend more time discussing logistics nowadays than I ever did when we were a patchwork fleet scampering around the galaxy."
"The Separatists had the same issue in the Wentrion Gaps."

The Wentrion Gaps,[2] or the Wentrion sector,[1] was a sector in the Inner Rim Territories that contained the Sagar system at the coordinates N-13 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was where the Separatist Alliance had once operated but experienced issues regarding a lack of supplies. When the New Republic faced a similar problem[2] in 4 ABY,[3] Lieutenant Yrica Quell compared the Republic's situation to the Separatists' supply issues in the Wentrion Gaps when discussing the former matter with General Hera Syndulla aboard the Acclamator-class transgalactic military assault ship Lodestar.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Wentrion Gaps were mentioned in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, the first volume of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy written by Alexander Freed.[2] It was identified as the Wentrion sector in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[4]
