Weapons officer was a rank held within the Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet. During the events of the Second Galactic Civil War, Turl Nevil held the rank of Weapons officer onboard the Cheesmeer, a frigate in the Galactic Alliance Second Fleet, prior to his death during the Battle of the rendezvous point.[1]
