Wadi Raffa Turlin/Benthic Extraction settlement

The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

The mining company Turlin/Benthic Extraction had a settlement on Wadi Raffa. Due to Wadi Raffa's status as a Legacy world, the settlement was temporary and only allowed Turlin/Benthic to engage in limited undersea mining operations. The settlement received cargo for the operation and would deliver it to the mining platforms via boat. The settlement had a rotating crew of a couple hundred personnel, while the mining platforms themselves were crewed mostly by droids and a few living pilots to operate hydraulic pumps that extracted valuable minerals, including doonium, dolovite, meleenium, and kammris. Eventually, the Galactic Empire engaged in a plot to frame Turlin/Benthic for receiving illegally-trafficked Separatist weapons so they could overtake their operations. The Empire would seize the settlement and the mining platforms before beginning their own operations.^[1]
