Volkan[2] was a female nurse in the Tabor Hospital on Protobranch. When a solar storm caused the antigrav platforms of the planet to collapse, Nurse Volkan was in charge of a group of younglings. She went to find help, leaving the younglings alone, but they were eventually rescued by Doctor Pira, with the help of the Jedi Padawans Dooku and Sifo-Dyas.[1]

Behind the scenes

Volkan was first mentioned in the audiobook Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott and published in 2019.[1] The spelling of Volkan's name was given in the script of the audiobook.[2]
