During the Imperial Era, the Victory at Batonn was a starship that served the Imperial Navy. After she received prime marks at[1] the planet[2] Carida's Imperial Naval Academy, the Ilohian Tian Karmiya finely served on the Enigma—another starship—and the Victory at Batonn. Following this, Karmiya held the rank of commander and was stationed as executive officer of the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Ultimatum.[1] In 3 ABY,[3] Karmiya's commanding officer aboard the Star Destroyer, Captain Canonhaus, reflected on her previous service, including her time on Victory at Batonn.[1]
The Victory at Batonn shared its name with the Outer Rim Territories planet Batonn, where the Empire, led by Admiral Thrawn, fought a battle against a group of insurgents[4] in 2 BBY.[5] The Empire ultimately emerged triumphant in the conflict, with Thrawn being promoted to Grand Admiral as a result of the victory at Batonn.[6]
