- "On my world, it is said that peace does not exist without war."
"Such a dark way to view the galaxy…" - ―Vetna Mooncrest and Ki-Adi-Mundi
A terrestrial world was the homeworld of the Force-sensitive human Vetna Mooncrest. According to Mooncrest, it was said on[1] her[2] world that peace did not exist without war.[1] At some point by the time between 40 BBY and 34 BBY,[3] Mooncrest had been taken from her homeworld to be trained as a Jedi in the Jedi Order, eventually becoming a Jedi Knight.[1]
At some point between those two years,[3] Mooncrest and several other members of the Order took part in a defense of the Outer Rim world Syrinx Prime, which had been invaded by its neighboring world Vekura. After Jedi Master Mace Windu joked with[1] Grand Master[4] Yoda about how[1] he[4] thought peace talks between the two worlds were progressing, Mooncrest noted what was said on her world about peace not existing without war. In response,[1] Jedi Master[4] Ki-Adi-Mundi characterized it as a "dark" perspective for viewing the galaxy.[1]
Behind the scenes
Vetna Mooncrest's homeworld was mentioned in the first issue of the 2025 comic series Star Wars: Jedi Knights. The issue was written by Marc Guggenheim and published by Marvel Comics[1] on March 5, 2025.[5]
