Verrick was a human enforcer and contract broker who worked for Hutt Cartel and oversaw its operations on the Outer Rim moon Toshara during 3 ABY.

Biography

"Exalted one, I have managed to make inroads on Toshara. This will be the first of many credit deliveries you can expect from this operation."

Verrick was a human who worked as an enforcer for the Hutt Cartel.[1] By 3 ABY,[2] Jabba Desilijic Tiure had spared Verrick's life after an incident and been sent to oversee the Hutt's operations on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. After their first shipment of credits from the moon, Verrick sent a message to Jabba in which they once again thank him for sparing their life and the opportunity they were given on Toshara; as well as stating that the shipment would be the first of many. A copy of this message was stored on a datapad which was left at a storehouse in the Lost Steppe region of Toshara.[1]

In 3 ABY[2] Verrick's role including operating as a contract broker for the Hutt Cartel. When he learned of a new thief operating on Toshara named Kay Vess, Verrick later hired her and a Sullustan named Monda to disrupt the Pyke Syndicate's rival creature smuggling operation on the moon by steal their client list and sabotaging their poaching station. During the job, Vess learned that Monda was actually working for the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate; leaving Vess with a choose of allowing Monda to take the client list to the Dawn or killing Monda and bringing the list to Verrick. After making her decision and planting a baradium bomb at the poaching station, Vess returned to Verrick who rewarded her with credits.[1]

Vess went on to take more contracts from Verrick following the Pyke job.[1] During the same year, Vess read Verrick's message to Jabba after being hired by a Mon Calamari information broker named Danka Orsato to break into the Hutt Cartel storehouse and steal a tracking fob from it.[1]

Verrick was a human with light skin, brown hair and brown eyes who spoke Galactic Basic.[1]

While operating on Toshara, Verrick wore a tan shirt, red pants, brown boots, brown gloves, a brown belt, two bandoliers and two pauldrons. To sabotage the Pyke poaching station Verrick supplied Vess and Monda with a baradium bomb.[1]

Behind the scenes

Verrick appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published Ubisoft. Verrick was part of the "Sabotage" main quest during which they player has the option of stopping Monda from taking the list or allowing her to take the list to Crimson Dawn. If the player chooses to allow the list to be taken they will receive half the credit reward and half the reputation increase with the Hutt Cartel but will also receive and increase in their reputation with the Crimson Dawn. If they choose to stop Monda, they will receive the full credit reward and Hutt reputation increase but will lose reputation with the Dawn. After completing the Sabotage quest and repairing the player's EML-850 light freighter they can choose to take optional contract quests from Verrick which provide reputation with the Hutts as well as credits.[1]
