Veril Line Systems was an ancient[5] and well respected droid manufacturer.[1] The company had a corporate heritage of producing superior industrial droids,[5] with their greatest impact being in the construction, power,[1] and labor droid fields.[5]
The corporation preferred functionality in their products over appearance, and had never produced military equipment such as droids, munitions, or starships. Because of this stance, Veril Line Systems had good relationships with the various galactic and planetary governments that were active over the years. Their main headquarters were located on the Coruscant.[5]
Veril Line's construction droids helped to shape the Coruscant skyline.[1] During the last years of the Galactic Republic, the company fielded a nuna-ball team consisting of Otoga droids. In 22 BBY, Veril's team beat Industrial Automaton's team of ASP droids with a score of 76-59.[6]
Veril Line Systems manufactured a variety of droid models,[1] and their products were available on any world that maintained a Stellar-class starport. The EG-series power droid was one of their staple lines,[2] including the first power droid brought to the market, the EG-4,[7] and the common EG-6 unit which was effectively the company's mascot.[5]
Other products included the EVS Construction Droid, the Gyrowheel 1.42.08-series recycling droid,[1] the IN-4 information droid,[2] the Otoga-222 maintenance droid,[4] the S9-series heavy power droid,[2] the V5-T transport droid,[8] and the I-C2 Civil-Industrial Droid.[2]
